PVD Coating "TR-Flat" "TR-Flat2"

Achieving both high hardness and high toughness! In addition to excellent sliding properties suitable for press processing, it has heat resistance that does not oxidize or change at temperatures above 900℃!

"TR-Flat" and "TR-Flat2" are PVD coatings developed to withstand harsher usage environments due to the increasing adoption of high-strength steel plates in automobiles. They achieve a balance of high hardness and high toughness, with excellent sliding properties suitable for press processing, and do not oxidize or degrade even in high-temperature environments above 900°C. The applicable range includes high-strength steel plate pressing and hot and cold forging with high processing loads. 【Features】 ■ Excellent oxidation resistance (heat resistance) ■ High hardness and high toughness ■ Excellent sliding properties *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

[Problem Solving Case] Extension of Mold Lifespan and Maintenance of High Dimensional Accuracy

Change to PVD coating with no dimensional changes! Ensures durability greater than CVD coating!

We received a request stating, "I don't want to change the type of coating, but I want to extend its lifespan," and we would like to introduce a case where we solved this issue. In fine blanking presses with a plate thickness of 10mm or more, molds have been treated with CVD processing due to the high loads applied to them, which provides excellent adhesion. However, because high-temperature treatment near 1000°C is required, maintaining the precision of the molds becomes very difficult, leading to increased labor for dimensional adjustments. In response, we considered switching to PVD coating, which does not change dimensions. By processing a special micro-dimple (FSA-50) as a base for PVD treatment, we can enhance compressive stress, reduce friction, and improve oil retention, ensuring durability that surpasses CVD coatings. **Key Points of Problem Solving** - PVD coating technology has made significant advancements in hardness, adhesion, and heat resistance. - It has reached the realm of Hv3500 or higher and heat resistance of 1200°C. - It is believed that these physical properties are approaching their limits, and there are increasing cases of adoption involving micro-dimple formation and composite treatments with nitriding as base treatments. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

Solving your concerns about selecting PVD coating types for automobiles.

Proposing membrane types tailored to usage conditions, achieving extended lifespan compared to conventional membranes.

In the automotive industry, wear resistance is required to improve the durability of parts. Particularly in harsh operating environments, performance degradation due to wear can affect product lifespan. Selecting the appropriate type of coating is crucial for enhancing the reliability of components. Our company will carefully inquire about your current usage conditions and propose the optimal coating type from similar types offered by various manufacturers, considering QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery). 【Application Scenarios】 - Improvement of wear resistance in automotive parts - Extension of mold lifespan - Enhancement of production efficiency 【Effects of Implementation】 - Achieving extended lifespan compared to conventional coating types - Evaluating customer usability (ease of handling) - Contributing to problem-solving

Solving the dilemma of selecting PVD coating types for electronic components.

Proposing membrane types tailored to usage conditions to achieve improved conductivity and extended lifespan.

In the electronic components industry, appropriate surface treatment is required to maintain product performance and improve reliability. Particularly in coatings related to conductivity, it is important to select the optimal type from a variety of film types; however, with many manufacturers and types available, there are cases where selection can be confusing. Traditionally, if film types were selected based on convention without fully considering usage conditions, there may be issues such as not achieving the expected performance or having a short lifespan. Our company will carefully inquire about your current usage conditions and propose the optimal film type from similar types across various manufacturers, taking into account QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery). 【Application Scenarios】 - Improvement of conductivity in electronic components - Enhancement of component durability - Streamlining of manufacturing processes 【Benefits of Implementation】 - Achieving extended lifespan compared to conventional film types - Improving user-friendliness for customers (ease of handling)
